What Is Your Ayurvedic Body Type? Vata, Pitta or Kapha
Your body has been giving you signals your whole life. Ayurveda has a name for what it's telling you — and understanding it changes everything.

“ In Ayurveda, your Prakriti — your unique body constitution — is the foundation of everything. It determines how you digest food, how you sleep, how you respond to stress, and why certain remedies work for some people and not others. Knowing your Dosha is where real health begins.
“
Your body has been giving you signals your whole life. Why you cannot sleep. Why you bloat after certain foods. Why summer drains you and winter makes you anxious.
In Ayurveda, these patterns are not random. They are your Prakriti — your unique constitution. Determined at birth. Present in every cell.
The Three Doshas
Ayurveda organises the human body into three fundamental energies called Doshas. Every person is a unique blend of all three, with one or two usually dominant.
Vata — Air & Space Vata governs movement — breathing, circulation, nerve impulses, and thought. Vata people are creative, quick, and enthusiastic. When out of balance: anxiety, dry skin, insomnia, and scattered energy.
Pitta — Fire & Water Pitta governs transformation — digestion, metabolism, intelligence, and drive. Pitta people are sharp, focused, and warm. When out of balance: inflammation, acidity, anger, and burnout.
Kapha — Earth & Water Kapha governs structure — growth, immunity, and stability. Kapha people are calm, loyal, and grounded. When out of balance: weight gain, congestion, and lethargy.
Why It Matters
Generic wellness advice fails most people because it ignores the most important variable — who you are.
Intermittent fasting is excellent for Kapha and harmful for Vata. The same herb that calms one person can aggravate another. Ayurveda does not treat diseases. It treats people.
